Job Search

Change can be painful.
Going through a life transition like a divorce, company restructuring or layoff can really shake a person to their core.
Suddenly, you are thrown into chaos and life is completely out of your control.
Just because the past didn't turn out like you wanted it to, doesn't mean your future can't be better than you've ever imagined!
Let's Get Started
Atlanta Career Coach

I understand that when your life is in chaos from a trauma like a company-wide layoff or a divorce, knowing how to start a job search can be so daunting that you just can't even bear to think about it, let alone write your resume.

I talk to so many people, in particular, women who have lost confidence in their ability to work outside the home.  I can help you to find a starting place, make a plan and fulfill that plan.  I see the gifts that God has given me as an opportunity to be part career mentor, part coach, and part cheerleader.

A Recruiter by trade, with an emphasis on placing Marketers and Creatives, I have the ability to see you and your resume from a Hiring Manager's perspective.

Starting Point
The first step in my process is an in depth discussion of your skill set, even if you "only" been a stay at home Mom and/or wife.  Together we discover your ideal role and craft a professional profile that highlights your strengths.
Resume Writing
I will create a resume after this discussion accurately describing your skills, and optimizing its visual impact on Hiring Managers and Recruiters.
I guide you in creating a LinkedIN profile that ensures that you will stand out from others in your desired field.
Job Search
Been out of the workforce a while?  Aren't technically savvy? Raise your hand if that's you! I understand that online job searching can be daunting.  I will break down the basics, show you how to find your dream job, and just as importantly, how to BE found.
Interview Prep
Ok, we got you through the first 4 steps and you've got the interview, but now you are TERRIFIED!  I've interviewed hundreds of people. Together, we will make sure you are ready for any question and are confident in your answers.
I grew up in South Florida, close to Ft. Lauderdale, now have lived in Georgia for over 25 years.

I have 2 boys, one in college at The University of Georgia and one still in High School.  They are the true loves and lights of my life.

I have always heard "Do what you love and it won't feel like work."  I find this to be especially true for me.  I am fulfilled and happiest when I can assist people in finding the job of their dreams.
